Surfers paradise.
About a 100 kms southwest of Melbourne, Bells Beach surfers' paradise is located on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc. Torquay is home to two important surfing businesses, Rip Curl which sells wetsuits and Quiksilver clothing.
In fact, Point Break, the cult surfing movie beloved of aficionados, was actually filmed on Bells Beach!
Bells Beach has also hosted the Surf Bells Beach Classic since 1962, the oldest professional surfing competition in the world.
